The story

A closer look.

Kataru Dangu Nguakaria both have the meaning of long life. This motif was produced in the 1970s with a different color, namely basic kombu (red) and I reproduced it by completely changing the different colors to be different from the habits of the Sumba people in general. This cloth is dyed using several dyes, namely indigo which produces a blue color, keki color from yellow wood (ai iju), and brown color from kehi bark.
